Sometimes it just feels so weird. and it can hurt so much. I just don't get it. No one does. Yes, I'm different I can admit it, but I never thought I was different in a bad way as others might make me out to be. I feel so sad sometimes. It just seems like everyone around me constantly is shooting down anything that I find interest or passion in. Such as in animie they all say how bad it is and that they don't like it, all because of something a wacked up art teacher told them at my old school. My friends are o.k. with it they even like it, but they don't get the fact that I also love martial arts. Even my best friend and my brother have made fun of me for it, constantly cracking jokes about it and even when I thought it'd be cool to call people with the word -san at the end of their name, like they do in Japan as a form to show respect to oneanother. My friend told me "Your in America. Speak American." but I tought that American was everyone, not just one sterotype of people. But I guess thats what we've become init? Just a bunch of people with our noses to high in the air to look around and say "Hmm thats pretty cool" about other countries. And while I am an American and so proud of it. I'd do anything for this country as long as the cause was just and the leadership godly yes i am also a Christian and unashamed. But sometimes I can't help but wonder if aybe we've lost a little bit of our respect for other countrys and cultures that differentiate from our own. So I will bear this for now. they can mock me and hurt me all they want and I will just take it all in with a smile and a joke. Until one day when I can show them who I am and that there is nothing wrong with being different. No I'm not japenese, but yes I do respect their culture, and their sense of honor and family traditions, No I do not like or agree with their religion in any way, shape or form. Because there is only one true God Almighty. And Jesus is His Son. But I think that in our quest to move forward so much America has forgoten its own past...
